Have you dreamed of cloves in cheese before? Cloves blended with the slightest touch of cumin? I sure hadn't but couldn't resist the chance to try this one.

Well, the Dutch folks at Holland Family Cheese up in Thorp, WI have dreamed up and brought to life this combo in their Clove Cumin Gouda. Aged then more than a year and it begs to be part of all holidays going forward.

No really, I know the combo sounds a little strange but it is delicious as you'll discover by how often you go back for a little nibble off the hunk when it is out on the table. This mouse sure does.

And to cook with this?! You'll need more palate bending creativity but that sure is fun!
